In the last days of January 2003,the horrifically mutilated and decaying body of
the President of the French foundation, 'La Societé Nationale de Défense des Animaux' (SNDA), was discovered in her home in a near suburb of Paris. Andrée Valadier was last seen alive on November 15, 2002 and forensic reports apparently indicate
she was probably murdered that same day. Her daughter, missing since then, has been accused by the French Criminal Police of responsibility for this heinous act, notwithstanding irreconcilable contradictions in this 'official' version of the crime, as well as its psychological inconceivability to the two women's last closest collaborators. Meanwhile, the same Criminal Police have gone (and continue to go) to great lengths imposing this grotesque explanation, trying to intimidate and discredit those who publicly refuse to accept it, among whom, this article's author.
The Criminal Police stubbornly refused to investigate other leads at the time, which may make ever now knowing the Truth improbable. Nevertheless, the lessons of this murder (or murders, Mother and Daughter) are forgotten, as the authorities so clearly hope, only by increasing the peril of those involved in the same kind of uncompromising Animal Defense in France...

On March 31, 2009, the members of the European Parliament's Agriculture Committee voted on a series of amendments to the European Commission's proposals to regulate animal testing across Europe... With billion-dollar corporations to support (all those suppliers and users of the vivisection industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and the medical corps that depends on both), the MEPs decided to keep the lid on this lucrative fraud, which is now set to continue with even greater freedom and leeway, and with all its disastrous consequences for human health, as well as for its animal victims.

Nice, France. The sneaking suspicion I'd had since yesterday was confirmed by this morning's news which announced that another SDF ('Sans Domicile Fix', or homeless person) had been 'found dead', this time in Nice, near the 'Voie Rapide' (the overpass expressway leading from one end of town to the ...
