Theatricum Botanicum brings Shakespeare to the Gardens on July 27
La Cañada Flintridge – The acclaimed Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum will present Shakespeare´s "A Midsummer Night´s Dream" from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Descanso Gardens.
Scheming fairy folk, ardent mortals and a ragtag band of trades people romp through the forest in a night filled with wonder. Enjoy one of Shakespeare´s best-loved comedies as twilight falls on the Gardens. Bring blankets to sit on and picnics (normally not allowed at Descanso), and enjoy a family-friendly performance.
